We strongly encourage all applicants to take the ACT early.

Testing Options
There is an ACT test in February and another April. The sooner the better!
Register by March 8th (or the 9th-25th with a late fee) to test on April 13th. When registering online, please request that the score be sent to Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC). Please check here (http://www.actstudent.org/faq/id.html) to ensure you have the proper photo identification to take the test. You will not need to take the written portion of the ACT. Once you receive your score report, please scan it and email it to Mrs. Jerome ([email protected]). Be sure to include which academy you are interested in (Engineering) in the email.

What if you don't get the scores you need after the first test?
If you do not achieve a qualifying ACT score, you will need to try again.
